Everywhere in Belgium the standard voltage is 220V. If you're bringing
equipment with you that uses only
100V
(North America, Japan, Korea) you should not
connect it to the Belgian power net.
However, light fixtures are OK provided that you replace the light bulbs with
220V bulbs purchased in Europe.
The Belgian power plug is the western European type, with two round
pin-holes. Plugs from the UK, North and
South America, and Asia will prove
useless in Belgium. Plug adaptors are not easy to find in Belgium or
elsewhere in Europe, so you might want to purchase them before coming to Belgium.
